Another $1 BILLION wasted?! ![]()
Once again, Washington State is being highlighted for wasting hard-working taxpayer money. According to ChangeWA, up to $1 BILLION may be wasted from the Employment Security Department in IT projects that are being scrapped. No one has been fired, demoted, or punished for it.![]()
We fought hard for accountable spending in our budget with no new taxes, no tax increases, and no service cuts by focusing on waste and abuse in state government (SB 5810). Olympia Democrats wouldn't even let our budget come to the floor for a vote, then they voted it down twice, after we engaged in rare parliamentary maneuvers to force a vote. Afterwards, Olympia Democrats voted to shut the public out of the budget process, and passed the LARGEST TAX INCREASES & spending spree in WA State History. Enough is enough.![]()
Whether you're left, right, or center, everyone should care about wasted funds and transparency in government. ![]()
Imagine what $1 BILLION could have paid for.![]()
