For decades, Washington attracted more people and more income than it lost. But that trend has now reversed. For the second year in a row, more income has left the state than arrived. And for the third year in a row, IRS data shows Washington is losing more taxpayers to migration than it gains.

Fiscal Incompetence: WA is forecasted to have a significant budget shortfall in the BILLIONS.This comes after Gov. Bob Ferguson and the far left passed a budget with the largest tax increases in state history this year (SB 5998), another budget with the second largest tax ory last year (SB 5167), cut $782 MILLION out of Medicaid (SB 5167), went on a record spending spree (SB 5998 & SB 5167), and more. All of these actions greatly contributed to the affordability crisis in our state.Enough is enough. Washington State has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.#GovernmentGreed #StopTheGreed #ReturnAffordability #waleg ...

UNCONSCIONABLE: Washington State's Sentencing Guidelines Commission, appointed by the Governor and Legislative Democrats, voted 7-2 to LOWER the penalties for those convicted in sex sting operations against minors, also known as "Net Nanny" Operations.Last year, WA Democrats submitted a similar policy in legislation with SB 5312. It was defeated by outrage from the public and Legislative Republicans (#tbt). We have adamantly opposed this dangerous and tone-deaf idea. Children need more protection from criminals and those seeking to do them harm, not less.#UnsafeWA #UnaccountableWA #ThrowbackThursday #waleg ...

Dubious Distinction: Washington State ranks dead last (50 out of 50 states) for farm profitability according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).State level policies including high fuel costs/taxes, high taxes overall, and a mountain of red tape keeps constraining our farmers and the agricultural community. We are losing two farms everyday in our state on average too (Source: Seattle Times). We must lower, not increase, the cost of doing businesses for farmers. Fuel prices can be reduced immediately by 55 cents a gallon of gas through pausing the Climate Commitment Act and Low Carbon Fuel Standards.Farmers provide our food. It's well past time for state government to stop hindering them and instead have their backs.#WALegwaleg ...
